The equipment operator must be at a set of equipment controls that include boom and swing functions of the equipment, and must be on site and in view of the equipment. (1) The personnel platform must not be loaded in excess of its rated capacity. General worksite personnel may ride the construction elevator, which is driven by a trained and dedicated operator.
